Karakurt

Karakurt's original design was made in September/October 2024. With no clear story beyond having been drawn possesed by Queen Hornet.

I happened to make this design only a few days before I started learning blender, and I liked the design enough that they became my 3D modeling muse. I modeled them multiple times to learn the program and ended up falling in love with them a bit. This was also the same time where I was majorly crushing on my partner, and was thinking about cuddles like, a lot. So I did a little sketch of Karakurt cuddling another hivewing and BOOM! That was the beginnings of Waxfly.

Waxfly then became the gateway into their story because I really wanted to write their romance-- somehow I ended up with a political intrique narrative?? Yeah don't ask me how that happened. And suddenly I'm thinking and writing about them all the time becuase their clashing political ideas are fun to bash together! (the romance is still there too but this time, with angst). This all brings us to my polite obsession with Karakurt and Waxfly, leading to the creation of this website and also my interest in WOF OCs in general.
